General Terms and Conditions:
We reserve the right to enforce these terms and conditions.
Booking your Holiday
To book the Cottage, either telephone, email or write to us to reserve your holiday. We will check availability, accept the booking and advise you of the cost.
Payment for your Holiday (this will be in two parts)
1. Deposit:
We will confirm, in writing, your booking upon receipt of your deposit of £50 per week booked. If the deposit is not received within 7 days of making the reservation, your reservation may be cancelled.
2. Balance:
The balance of your invoice is payable on day of arrival.
Cancellations
In the event that you wish to cancel your booking for any reason, we reserve the right to retain your deposit as a cancellation fee. However, if we are able to re-book your chosen week, we will carry forward your deposit for a future booking.
Equipment
The Cottage is furnished and equipped in accordance with our 4 Star Grading.
Pets
Guests will be liable for the full cost of any damage caused by pets. If you are in any doubt as to whether the property is suitable for your pet, we encourage you to telephone us with your query.
Linen
Our cottage is supplied with all bed linen and towels at no extra cost.
Cleaning
Our cottage is cleaned thoroughly between each let.
Short Breaks
Short break holidays of three nights or more can be arranged during low season.
Complaints
It is important, to us, that our guests should enjoy our cottage and its facilities during their stay. In the unlikely event of any dissatisfaction with the cottage we would ask our guests to report their problem immediately.
Terms and Conditions of Hire:
- The hirer shall ensure that the standard of cleanliness of the cottage is at the same standard on their departure, as on their arrival,
- The hirer shall not sub-let the premises or any part thereof,
- The number of people occupying the premises shall not exceed the number stated for the premises,
- The hirer binds and obliges himself to vacate the hired premises without demand at the termination of the period of hire,
- The hirer binds and obliges himself to pay the lessor in respect of any loss or damage beyond fair wear and tear,
- The hirer is required to pay a booking deposit of £50 per week, with balance payable upon arrival,
- The hirer agrees that, in the event of cancellation, while all reasonable efforts will be made by the lessor to re-let, the lessor retains the right to keep the deposit payment,
- The lessor, accepts no responsibility for loss, injury or damage to any member of the hirer's party or their property, arising in any manner out of the let of the premises, however caused,
- The hirer shall undertake to prevent any member of his party from causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbouring residents or occupiers,
- The hirer undertakes to leave the hired premises secure if left unoccupied during the period of let,
- The hirer undertakes to relieve the lessor from any liability for damage or injury by any member of his party, however caused,
- The lessor reserves the right of entry to the properties at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance.
